Family Tree on Facebook

Hey all,

This is a Facebook question I hope can be answered.
Others on here have educated me about how it works / particularly Jessie's post on how to use that feed.
Anyway, my younger cousins / nieces have all got it in their heads to play let's-do-geneology ... something their parents / uncles had spurned with indifference for at least a couple generations. anyway a few of us have started being sports about the whole thing rather than the traditional blow-offs, me being one.
So they have this app on Facebook called Family Tree. I can get requests to work, get the combo box to come up where I select the relationship so your tree and theirs has a match I'm guessing.
But where it all falls down is when you go in and attempt to attach all your family from the friends' (in some cases maybe fiends) list and then you go to assign the relationship there. In case you're like me and thinking it's just a table like mySQL, SQL or similar, it's not ... you have links you use that say "Assign Relationship" but basically I can't for the life of me get them to activate. That is, with the mouse button in JAWS or NVDA or NVDA's do action on navigator Object either.
Anyway if there's an alternate way to set these, I'd be grateful for any guidance. It would probably help to avoid posts on how 'inaccessible' the site is ... I just hope to find a way to simply solve this, even if it is kluddjy or takes a lot of steps. I'm not bothered by needing to do arcane things. But I also know I may be missing something obvious because I'm newer into social network things than many of you all.

Thanks for the responses,

robo
